To calculate the score for the UKPDS Coronary Risk Estimator.

Use to calculate the score for the UKPDS Coronary Risk Estimator. The estimator assesses eight parameters related to the probability of developing Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) when diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus: age, gender, diabetes duration in years, smoking status, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) level, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio, and microalbumin in urine. Each parameter's value is added and the total score is interpreted as Average Risk (0-17), Elevated Risk (18-31), and High Risk (32-69). At the same time the risk is interpreted in the following way: - Average Risk: <15% probability of having CHD in the next 10 years, - Elevated Risk: 15-30% probability of having CHD in the next 10 years - High Risk: >30% probability of having CHD in the next 10 years.

Not to be used in patients not diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
