To calculate the RCVS2 score and identify patients with RCVS from those with other intracranial arteriopathies.

Use in patients 18-55 years old. RCVS2 score variables and assigned points: Recurrent or single TCH (Present = 5, Absent = 0); Carotid artery (Affected = -2, Not affected = 0); Vasoconstrictive trigger (Present = 3, Absent = 0); Sex (Female = 1, Male = 0); Subarachnoid hemorrhage (Present = 1, Absent = 0). Interpretation: score >= 5 = Positive (for RCVS); score 3-4 = Equivocal, score <= 2 = Negative.

Not to be used for adults with cerebral arteriopathies already identified and outside the age range.
