Visual Acuity Testing (Snellen Chart) assess binocular and monocular visual acuity.

To assess the binocular and monocular visual acuity.

Use to measure the visual acuity by holding the Snellen Chart 4 feet (1.2 m) from the patient, and select the lowest line that the patient can read correctly with each eye independently. Interpretation: Line 1 - 20/200 visual acuity Line 2 - 20/100 visual acuity Line 3 - 20/70 visual acuity Line 4 - 20/50 visual acuity Line 5 - 20/40 visual acuity Line 6 - 20/30 visual acuity Line 7 - 20/25 visual acuity Line 8, 9, 19, 11 - 20/20 visual acuity

Not to be used as a replacement for in-office testing.
